Evolution of Incentive Alignment Processes

CPG · 2023

The Challenge

The company needed to bring all areas around a shared growth priority: Market Share. Within the Quarterly Business Plan, fragmented ways of working made it difficult to coordinate inputs, establish consistent priorities, and translate business objectives into a unified demand plan.

The Outcome

We helped establish a more structured approach to demand planning across Latin America. Clearer responsibilities, coordinated planning routines, and improved information flows helped reduce rework, creating a more efficient foundation for translating growth priorities into action.

How We Made It Tangible

1

Current-State Mapping

Through interviews, document analysis, and collaborative workshops, we examined how planning worked across areas, uncovering gaps in coordination, duplicated efforts, and opportunities to simplify the process.

2

Process Redesign

We redesigned the process, clarifying roles, information inputs and outputs, communication flows, and team participation. The redesign introduced two new routines and addressed both immediate improvements and longer-term changes to tasks, incentives, and planning criteria.

3

Implementation Roadmap

We translated the proposed changes into a practical roadmap covering deliverables, timelines, and team interactions, giving the organization a clear path to adopt more consistent planning practices.
